Our story

MoonDev Solutions is an immersive web studio founded in 2020 in Byblos, Lebanon, by Theodor Rahme, Founder & CEO / Tech Lead. The 12-person team builds WebAR experiences, 360° virtual tours, Three.js configurators, progressive web apps and AI features for clients including Byblos Municipality, UNICEF, INJAZ, AUF, the Lebanese University, Al Bayt Qatar and Fly Event Management.

We started as a VR and 3D studio. Early work needed a headset or an installed app, and most of the people our clients wanted to reach had neither. So we moved everything to the browser: WebGL for 3D, WebAR for augmented reality, panoramic viewers for 360° tours. A guest house in Byblos, a restaurant menu or a shoe configurator now opens from a link or a QR code on any phone.

The studio began online as moondev.io and now lives at moondev.solutions. In five years the work has grown to 35 public projects: 12 live 360° tours in Lebanon, interactive 3D demos, production web platforms such as Annoubine Market and Questa Education, and the 4D Smart Menu, our AR restaurant menu.

Today we sell five service lines: 360° Virtual Tours, Augmented Reality (WebAR) & AR Menus, 3D Web Experiences & Product Configurators, AI & Automation, Web & Mobile App Development.

Where we work

Byblos HQ

The studio is in Byblos (Jbeil), Mount Lebanon, 40 km north of Beirut. Discovery calls, design reviews and client visits happen here, Monday to Friday 9:00–18:00. +961 81 81 00 57 · info@moondev.solutions

On-site capture across Lebanon

360° tours and AR menu scans are shot on location. Recent captures include the Cadmus, Hiram and Ashmun guest houses in Byblos, the Memory of Time museum, Babelmina restaurant and the Orizon venue, plus drone and Matterport captures for real-estate listings.

Remote delivery for the Gulf and Africa

Web, 3D and AI projects ship remotely with weekly preview links. Clients include Al Bayt Qatar, Fly Event Management (UAE, KSA, Qatar), Cryospec (MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa) and IMG Construction (Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea).

How we work

Five steps, and at each one you get something concrete in your inbox.

  1. Discover. One call. We ask what people should see, scan or walk through, who they are and where they will open it. You receive: a written scope with deliverables, stack and timeline.
  2. Capture & design. We come on site anywhere in Lebanon for 360° or AR capture, or model from plans and product files. UI mock-ups for apps. You receive: raw captures, mock-ups and a build plan to sign off.
  3. Build. Development in Next.js, Three.js and WebAR. Every week you get a preview link on a moondev.solutions subdomain. You receive: weekly preview links and a change log.
  4. Launch. Hosted on a moondev.solutions subdomain or your own domain. QR codes, analytics and SEO metadata included. You receive: the live URL, QR assets and access to the CMS or dashboard.
  5. Support. Monthly menu and content updates for AR menus and tours; a retainer for platforms that keep evolving. You receive: a named contact on WhatsApp and email, Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00 Beirut time.

What we value

  • Ship in the browser. No app store, no headset required. A 360° tour, an AR menu or a 3D configurator opens from a link or a QR code on the phone people already have.
  • Own the whole stack. We capture, model, code and host. One team in Byblos is responsible from the first photo to the live URL, so nothing gets lost between vendors.
  • Local roots, regional reach. Founded and based in Byblos, Lebanon. Delivered for clients in Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea without leaving the browser.
  • Teach what we build. The AI Program Stage A with Ranna Studios and our 7-day internship coding challenge exist because the next team members should come from Lebanon.

FAQ

Questions

How big is MoonDev?

MoonDev is a 12-person studio in the 10–49 employee band, based in Byblos (Jbeil), Lebanon. The team covers 3D and graphics, web and backend engineering, UI/UX and product, cybersecurity, copywriting and sales, all in one office.

Founder and CEO Theodor Rahme leads the technical direction. There are 35 public projects on this site, across 360° tours, 3D web, websites and AR.

Do you work with clients outside Lebanon?

Yes. We have delivered for Al Bayt Qatar, Fly Event Management (UAE, KSA, Qatar), Cryospec (MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa) and IMG Construction (Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea). Web, 3D and AI projects run fully remotely with weekly preview links.

360° capture is on site, so tours are currently shot across Lebanon; for the Gulf we build rendered 3D walkthroughs from plans instead.

Who owns the code and the 3D assets after delivery?

You do. The source code, 360° captures, 3D models and design files we produce for your project are handed over at the end of the engagement. We can keep hosting the result on a moondev.solutions subdomain or move it to your own domain and infrastructure.

The only exceptions are licensed third-party libraries and our own reusable tooling, which stay under their original licences.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. Send your NDA before the discovery call or ask for ours. Unreleased products, off-plan real estate and internal platforms are a normal part of our work, and nothing appears in the portfolio without written approval.

Do you take interns and juniors?

Yes. Entry to the MoonDev internship is a 7-day coding challenge in Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind and Supabase; there is no interview. Register on the internship page, receive your assignment by email, ship it to a live URL and we review the code.

Juniors who pass the review work on real client projects from the Byblos office with the engineers named on this page.
